Over the last two months of 2013, Ellwood City Revitalization hosted a successful fundraiser by selling raffle tickets that were based on the New Year’s Day 2014 Daily Number. But the biggest winner walked away with an impressive prize – $5,000 in cash on New Year’s Day!

The winner, a long-time resident of Ellwood City who is employed locally, donated a portion of her winnings back to the ECR. We’re extremely grateful for her generosity and the generosity and support of everyone who purchased one or more of the ECR raffle tickets. The proceeds from the ticket sales will support the ongoing work of Ellwood City Revitalization, including the Ellwood City Community Plaza’s Summer Concert Series. As always, it is the support of our community that makes being involved in our various projects so rewarding and worthwhile!
