Family Safari Celebration Brings Something Wild to EC Community Plaza

What are you doing next Saturday afternoon, September 7th? If you’re interested in beautiful, wild animals, you’ll be in the Ellwood City Community Plaza, where Wild World of Animals will be bringing their exciting and educational animal show to Ellwood City. You’ll be up close with some fantastic animals, including alligators, monkeys and much more as Grant Kemmerer III (he’s been on Letterman!) introduces his audience to amazing facts about wild animals and puts some common misconceptions about them to rest.

There will also be face-painting, the Safari Snack Shack and Treasured Memories’ Safari Snapshots photo opportunities. Kids can meet and learn more about Jocek, Ellwood City’s popular police dog, from Officer McBride and Mayor Anthony Court.

The Wild World of Animals show starts at 2:00 pm, but there will be plenty to do for everyone. Don’t forget your lawn chairs!

*For safety reasons, we ask that visitors understand that there will be a period of time prior to the show when guests will not be permitted near the stage as it is set up and the animals are cared for.  We also ask that guests refrain from arriving prior to 1:30 pm so that the Enrichment Committee can properly prepare the Plaza for this once-in-a-lifetime show. Thank you!
