D-Major to Perform at June 8th Farmers’ Market Grand Opening
To kick off this year’s Ellwood City Farmer’s Market, the local group D-Major will be performing from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. The group specializes in Italian favorites and Italian-American classics and features vocals, guitar and keyboard.
D-Major is a family group including brothers John DiBuono, a teacher an coach, and Robert DiBuono, a local attorney. John’s wife, Nora DiBuono, rounds out the group with her vocals. All three of the DiBuonos began their musical educations in childhood. John began playing piano at age six with Robert following on the guitar when he was seven. Nora, a member of the Ohio State Fair Your Choir the summer after her high school gradution, has been singing in church choirs for years.

The brothers’ parents emigrated to the Ellwood City area from Italy nearly 45 years ago, bringing with them a love of music they instilled in their children. Today, D-Major performs throughout the Ellwood City area, introducing traditional Italian songs and American classics to a new generation of music lovers.
Visit this year’s Farmers’ Market in the 500 block of Beaver Avenue, behind the Community Plaza and enjoy D-Major’s musical talents. The Market runs from 8:00 am to noon, with D-Major beginning their performance at 9:00 am.
